J. Bradley Baker was born and raised in South Carolina, and attended The University of South Carolina, where he earned a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Political Science in 1992. Mr. Baker earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1995.
Mr. Baker has been in private practice for 13 years. Prior to opening his own firm, he practiced for 5 ½ years at the Salley Law Firm in Lexington, South Carolina. Prior to moving to Lexington, Mr. Baker practiced in Darlington at the Law Office of D. Kenneth Baker, P.A. Mr. Baker’s entire career has been spent representing those who have been hurt on the job or injured due to the negligence of a third party. Mr. Baker has also regularly defended those who have been accused of crimes in the State of South Carolina.
Before going into private practice, Mr. Baker was a law clerk to the Honorable Edward B. Cottingham (Circuit Court Judge for the State of South Carolina) who is from Bennettsville, South Carolina. Mr. Baker is admitted to practice in all State Courts of South Carolina and is admitted to practice in the Untited States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Judicial Circuit.
